I practice in the Mitake valley in Ōme. It takes only five minutes on foot from my house. When I was little, I didn't notice that I am lucky to canoe in such a beautiful natural environment.
I also appreciate support from the local community. This support is both encouraging and inspiring.

My neighbors invited me to go canoeing when I was eight.I started with white water rafting. It's been more than 10 years since I started canoe slalom.
